Who we are
Trust and room for initiative.
De Compliance Afdeling began at Maarten's dining table in 2021. As a Compliance Officer, he worked with a programmer, with big ideas about making compliance easier to understand and put into practice. That early enthusiasm remains.
We have grown since then. From our Rotterdam office and at customers' premises, we help organisations in sectors from healthcare and IT to construction improve their compliance. No two organisations or challenges are the same, keeping the work varied. We use what we learn from customers to improve our services and the Compliance Tool.
Our approach is straightforward and shaped by Rotterdam: get things done, communicate clearly and help one another. We differ in our backgrounds, personalities and ways of thinking. That is how we complement each other.
